So, for that software, no converter is necessary, although for larger databases, it could be a lot of work. You can, of course, export songs from MediaShout as text and import them into Pro6 (which, despite what I said at the beginning of the video, looks to be the best way to do it).
#PROPRESENTER PLUS SOFTWARE#
That's what Mac software is all about. If you’re moving from EasyWorship 6, take a look at this tool (from James Inglis in the ProPresenter Users’ Group) to export your lyrics to a ProPresenter format.įor other formats, like ChordPro, SongShow Plus 7, SongPro, Plain Text, or if you want to just see the slides b/c you don’t have the software, try this site (made by Chris Barr). With ProPresenter I can stop worrying about the technical stuff and start getting creative. All apps play nicely together on a Core 2 Duo Intel iMac running OS 10.5.2. It is used in conjunction with Keynote (for sermon presentations) & WireTap Studio (to record sermons live as podcasts for our website). (At one point we bought but didn't even attempt to teach MediaShout.) ProPresenter has the features we need on the best OS around. Trying to teach someone on SundayPlus did not go well for us. One of the primary reasons in switching to Mac & ProPresenter was to make it easier for 'non-geek' volunteers to run the AV system for services. And version 3.3 now adds Live Video which I will be excited to test out. Not to mention the fact that it keeps getting better - for free! They added the DVD clip feature so we don't have to switch over to our old DVD/VCR input anymore. It works great for our song service, announcements, & video clips. I am a VERY happy camper now! The program is simple to use but gives us the power to have the text display & background display controlled separately. Finally switched to a Mac & ProPresenter. Originally I was stuck with SundayPlus on a PC. I was drafted into the AV position at my local church 'cause I'm a geek.
